I didn't make it very far into the second season of Korra. I felt they went wide on fairly nonsensical world building, then abandoned that premise when the villain of the first season was dealt with tidily instead of persisting as the social force his movement had been made out to be. It was a great set-up, I watched the first ep a buncha times...

Season 2 is the weakest one IMO, but it has some amazing single episodes and a brilliant miniarc. Season 3 is the strongest.

I also stopped after 2nd season. The villain in first was so amazing they could have pulled a 4-season arc on him alone, buy the seasonal villains just didn't cut it for me, especially after Avatar.

Yeah, I definitely think Korra suffered for originally only being slated for one season. Season 2's unexpected continuation is rough, and everyone I know who's quit watching quit watching in that season. That said, the show really found its legs again in season 3, and I'd thoroughly recommend finishing it, especially if you liked season 1.

This is great. I thoroughly enjoyed the original series years ago, but didn't keep up with the weekly releases of this show when it came out. Can't wait to watch it all in one go

After Airbender spent a record breaking amount of time on the top 10 chart, Korra seems like an easy get, and if the live action series plays well, who knows?
