In hindsight, I guess maybe it was good the NHL stopped the sale to Balsillie with Blackberry falling apart, but somewhere in Ontario would probably still have been a better place than the mess in Arizona.

At the time, Utah was an option and more recently Quebec.

I suppose the recent issues with season tickets in Winnipeg probably helps Bettman feel better about not putting more teams in Canada.

I do agree that keeping the Arizona team playing in a 5000 seat arena was untenable. I couldn't believe that was a serious solution. It's amazing how far the competence gulf is between the other sports leagues in North America and the NHL.

I'm not entirely sure how much stock I take in this angle, but I can believe this was part of the mentality in the executive's heads.

Do I believe Microsoft bought Zenimax to make sure Starfield wasn't a Sony exclusive? Absolutely.

Do I think Microsoft is worried about a competitor making Hi-Fi Rush 2 or Prey 2? I'm not sure that even registers in the boardroom.

Maybe that's an added bonus, but this is absolutely motivated by showing growth for investors at all costs and these studios were those costs because that's easier than making successful games.

In addition to the other commenter, the app can be switched between french and English. When on English, if you go to search you only have the two language options I mentioned. Switching the language basically resets the app making you have to favourite things again, etc. Plenty of people use both languages, so it's the least elegant solution I have seen.

Bell is a good example of what Apple does but poorly. They don't care if Crave is good or priced attractively. They just want it to lock you into their ecosystem so it's harder to switch to a cheaper provider and HBO content helps with that.

This issue makes me irrationally angry. My property management specifically calls out service animals only but does nothing to actually check this requirement. So I used to tell people and they would always says it's their emotional support animal. So I ask for their ESA letter. Never once did anyone actually have that with them. Eventually it just got to the point where I stopped asking these assholes as all it ensured was that they wouldn't buy anything from my business, not that it would ever stop.

I haven't found it any hotter than grass during the summer but worth asking about if you do decide to get a quote.

I would absolutely think sprinklers would be fine. If it rains, I don't bother spraying and it usually takes a while to start smelling so it depends how proactive you are too.

I have a small backyard and two dogs. I also got tired of muddy dogs and replaced the grass with turf, specifically this one.

Complete game changer. No more cutting, no more weeds, no more mud. Just have to occasionally spray it during the summer to get rid of the dog urine smell.

    Overall, a great investment.

Yeah, I think my reasons are probably similar. Definitely too expensive, but I also go to VIP to avoid loud people and make it more of a date night with my wife. Obviously makes it more expensive then a normal movie, but not by much. Your second point is probably the main reason. Unless it's something I really want to see like Dune 2, I know I'll just eventually stream it.

Yes. And yes, I realize stuntman are not actors and it would never happen, except when it does like Jackie Chan.

Are you saying that it's unrealistic for Ryan Gosling to be cast as a stuntman in universe?

My last three movies were Dune 2, Oppenheimer and Dune. I used to go to more movies but they rarely rise to the occasion anymore. I'm not entirely sure why.

Specifically to The Fall Guy, I imagine I'll stream it at some point. The concept never seemed believable to me because of the fact that Gosling was supposed to be the stuntman. In what world is he the stuntman instead of the leading man? I would love to know who else they were considering for the role. I would have been more interested if they took a well known stuntman and made them the lead. Obviously that would never happen at $130 million, but I would find that idea a lot more interesting.
