Tildes Book Club - How is it going with The Dispossessed?

I'm also about half way through. That said I'm enjoying the book very much, and not considering it a slog at all. My schedule has just been busier than usual, and I haven't had a day that's allowed me to sit down and chew through a big chunk of it at once.
Do you have a date in mind for when to the discussion will occur? I was just planning to take the extra week (or however long I might need) and add my thoughts after the thread was already started. The longevity of Tildes discussions means that isn't as big of a deal as it might be on other platforms.
My travel schedule means that I will be unavailable next weekend. Maybe Thursday morning Pacific time
I agree about longevity of threads. There is no hurry
Just finished the book this morning. I started by reading and it was a bit sluggish. I ended up listening to the audiobook and that made it go a lot quicker.
I read it about a year ago, so it's not totally gone from my memory.
I got lucky with my library hold and am doing a re-read now (re-listen? Still not sure the right verb for audiobooks) because I really enjoyed it and wanted a refresh. I'm about 1/3 of the through.
I finished it sometime last week. Definitely enjoyed it, although I had to take a bit of a breather after some of the events about halfway through. My copy also has two chapters that are in all caps for no obvious reason that I took my time getting through. I don't like it when my book is shouting at me.
I'm interested to see what everyone thinks of it!
