Having a football regulator seems a little strange to me but heck, Teddy Roosevelt helped write the rules for American football and I know there are a lot of concerns about big money and foreign money in the sport in the UK today. I am endlessly amazed that the UK can support at least three tiers of professional soccer enough that promotion and relegation are meaningful.
