Here's my girl. She's my step dog-ter, her name is Mildred.

She is.... for us! She's not a fan of anyone that comes near the house though :( All part of having a rescue though!
Pablo at Christmas. Still going strong and being a superstar. Apparently hamsters can't see very well but he can certainly stare at us and communicate like that; staring while still is usually for food while sniffing around and moving more but looking pointedly at us means 'I want to play'.
He's really brought us a lot of joy.
It remains hard to be a cat.
When a mouse comes in the house and starts eating out of the cat's food bowl, you and I might think that would be a concern for the cat. And it is, to the extent that he sat and stared at the mouse for a while very intently. Once I caught the mouse in a container, though, he got very excited by the mouse running around inside the container before I took it back outside. So he's very tired today after all that excitement of not catching a mouse.
