Seasons: A Letter to the Future got to me. It's very slow, methodical and exploratory, but there are parts of the story that really got to me causing tears. From the perspective of our own dying world right now and the recognition of constant change and renewal, it's a powerful game.

The Books - I've been listening them heavily for 3-4 years now. Nothing else like this disbanded band. They seem to have had the same wavelength as how I think about music and life at large. I'm very conflicted I only learned about them a decade after they broke up and didn't get to see them live, but I also know I found them at the right point in my life. Their music has guided and guides me through this transformative period of my life and the world more broadly. The Books songs and albums are experienced differently each and ever time IMO and I learn tidbits that change their meaning from old blogs and news articles here and there.

Edit: Another great mini-documentary on them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoSWqy3L78A

Mainly it's just local NIMBY's in what are mostly nearby single-family homes who are against towers and density. Because it's a mostly wealthy Well connected demographic of people, they historically have been successful in blocking projects on city land. The province of BC though has recently passed housing mandates and up zoning requirements that will push a lot of projects through.

I'm on the border of Gen Z/millennial and have recently realized I'm Bi and Gender-neutral-ish, and I hope to approach this sensitively and out of compassion, but I wonder if this is a built in genealogical/evolutionary mechanism of our species recognizing we're reaching a population peak. Like it's not as physically strong a mechanism, but in many frogs and fish specie's, they'll literally change their physical sex to help self regulate population to resource availability, and so I almost wonder if queerness is a similar built in mechanism for us.

I've seen Coil described as dark psychedelica and The Books and light psychedelica which I agree with. Still learning and getting a grasp on Coil

Also a bit heavier, but "One Week" (2008) with Joshua Jackson I love for his motorcycle trip across Canada which we don't see often in many forms of media.

As of the end of Q3 2023, Warner Bros Discovery and Paramount Global have significant debts.
WBD's debt load stood at $43.5 billion, while Paramount Global reported long-term debt of $15.6 billion.
In terms of liquidity, WBD's current ratio as of Sep 2023, was 0.88, which indicates that it has less than one dollar of current assets for every dollar of current liabilities. This suggests that WBD may struggle to meet its short-term obligations.
Paramount Global, on the other hand, had a current ratio of 1.23, indicating a better short-term financial health as it has more than one dollar of current assets for every dollar of current liabilities.
