The downside is however, that that would mean the truth has to come out, which, I wonder how that would turn out for Drake..

Well, no, it's a sentiment shared by top drivers mentioned in the article. My takeaway is that while it might be common to treat roads with bitumen, it's a different story for race tracks.
Either way it's sub optimal to have what's a potentially slippery coating on the track, especially when it's already worn and inconsistently coated.
I.e. this is a racist article
This is an overreaction, considering whatever it is they did to the track, doesn't seem to be very common. They're all caught off guard by this process.

I think you're gonna find out you're got to put in the effort...
Alternatively, what kind of professions seek my method of inquisitively deep-diving into stuff, as I described?

What you're describing is learning by doing, but studying is also a form of doing..

Mostly because of the focus on new vehicles which are not targeted at keyboard players in the slightest, making getting ATs pretty finicky.
I know it's likely used for rewriting paragraphs, but if you can't write, it's no different from using AI to produce code when you can't code.
In either circumstance the final output may not explicitly mean what you intended. Besides that, it negatively impacts the quality and might make papers more cumbersome to read (after the 356th unnecessary use of the word "versatile", "intricate" or "delve").
