At MAPS, which has about 35 employees, Doblin added to his employee manual a section called smokable tasks—things you can do at work when you’re high on drugs, such as brainstorming in a meeting or using Excel.

although i think it's a bit depressing, using something to change how you view yourself and the world, to be more effective at capitalism. maybe i'm cynical but sounds sad.

some small comments which bother me:

Ketamine, which doctors have long used as an anesthetic, is sometimes prescribed to treat depression or post-traumatic stress disorder, often as pills or through infusions at clinics.

should probably mention clinically it's often esketamine instead, which, to make a very long story short, is different from what you get at a rave/party/dealer. except maybe them silicon valley figures, who knows.

[...]its co-founder Peter Thiel is personally invested in Atai Life Sciences, which is developing psychedelics for mental health.

peter thiel is involved in half of silicon valley, seems a bit silly to single him out?
