Kola Beldy is a Soviet Nanai singer, who is mostly known in the Ex-USSR for his songs about the lives of the Northern Peoples. You might think that he's a funny guy, but he actually went to fight Nazis in WWII by lying about his age (he was 16 at the time) and serving as a sailor in the Red Navy. He also used ho have a strong stutter that he (obviously) overcame and went on to become one of the most famous Soviet singers and receiving the Meritorious Artist award in 1986.
