    I admit this article is a little bit click-baity, but I thought it was important to highlight that victim blaming is still present, and in our courtrooms. Of course, this case was dismissed, but...

    I admit this article is a little bit click-baity, but I thought it was important to highlight that victim blaming is still present, and in our courtrooms. Of course, this case was dismissed, but how many aren't, or don't even reach the courtrooms due to prejudice along the process.

    Maybe so, but this one should get the Defense Lawyer disbarred, in my opinion. The article sites a judge in a different case that made similar comments and was pressured to resign.

    Defence lawyers have much more leeway when it comes to the questions they can ask in cross-examination.
