    Sorry, but some corrections:

    • The Fermi Paradox, neither a scientifically accepted theory nor claiming life to be probable, poses the question that: If life is common, then why have we no credible evidence for it yet? It is typically used in conjunction with the Drake equation (which is probably what you were thinking of) to estimate the prevalence of life in our galaxy.
    • Occam's razor is a decision principle that tries to estimate the likelihood of competing explanations being true based on the number of made assumptions. So if there is only one explanation, then it shouldn't be applied.

    equivalent chart for Steam

The closest thing seem to be their traffic stats. Funnily enough, until about 2018 they have claimed to support 237 countries.

Steam is available in 237 countries and 21 different languages.

people were even claiming Steam supported more regions than Microsoft. Well, quick scan (and realizing than an Xbox account is a microsoft account) shows how misguided that notion is

I don't think it works like this. According to the Xbox network wiki page, only 42 countries are officially supported.

Users from other countries are not officially supported, although it is possible for them to access Xbox network if they provide an address located in a country where Xbox network is officially available. The country selected during account creation affects the payment options, content, and services available to the user.

It sounds like people from unsupported countries would be able to log in, but not pay for anything.

A centralized database can be manipulated and isn't transparent, e.g. lots of people are wary of donating to charities because they don't trust that the money ends up at its intended location. With a decentralized blockchain it could theoretically be possible to publicly verify how much money is donated, and how it's utilized.

I don't really sort my apps anymore. The most used apps or ones I want quick access to are on the home screen and mostly concentrated on the bottom half of the screen. My other apps are in the alphabetically sorted app drawer where I only have three folders for tech giants to reduce the number of pages. Ideally, I would like to use the AOSP style vertical drawer to profit from an index scroll bar, but my phone doesn't offer it natively unfortunately.

The secondhand market theoretically increases the value and therefore possible asking price for new books. Even if not by much it's still a different scenario.

As someone who sails the high seas, I find it hypocritical to claim adblocking isn't piracy due to some technicalities. Getting access to a paid service without "paying" is piracy.
The only excusable reason imo is the risk of malware, but I seriously doubt this is the main/only reason for most people using them. Especially because the risk of getting infected is very low with modern browsers.

Like I still use adblockers because a lot of sites are quite intrusive with them, and the alternative subscription services are not only too tedious to subscribe to for every random site but most often way too expensive. But I'm not kidding myself that instead of not using a site I'm deciding to instead be a freeloader, which in some ways is even worse as a completely passive user since I'm not only not generating income but also causing higher expenses.

Adding to this, the reason for the frame rate limit is so that you don't experience the v-sync delay, and from what I've heard it can be better to use the, if provided, in-game frame rate limiter since the game engine can pace its frames better than an external one.
Also it sounds weird but v-sync and g-sync are complementary technologies. G-sync varies the frame rate of the monitor to only update if a new frame is rendered, and v-sync synchronizes the frames so each one is fully displayed. Without v-sync tearing can still occur.

Tearing is also something that gets less noticeable the more frames are being rendered, as the difference between each one gets less and less. So if you mostly play games with high framerates then you wouldn't necessarily notice a strong difference. Especially when the framerate exceeds the refresh rate as g-sync is then not active.

That site can be installed on my device for some reason lol. But I get what you mean. Tildes for example can be only be added as a shortcut to the home screen but from what I understand that's because the site itself doesn't support the standard. Firefox is also listed as having only partial support for PWAs on the Wiki, maybe because it works inconsistently.

Firefox does not support installing a website as an app

Pretty sure it does on Android. I've had one installed for quite some time on the beta version and just tried Messages for Web (with the non beta) which also seems to work. Maybe it didn't when you last tried it?

these types of features missing are probably causing a worse experience in trying to get users to switch

For me that's the missing add-on support of Chrome on Android. While on desktop I prefer to use Chrome, on Android it's a no-brainer to use Firefox instead due to the unusability of the web without adblockers and especially cookie request blockers.
