Overall, there’s a big difference between California Zone 9 and Florida Zone 9, although based on the amount of rain discussed I would suspect they are in the Eastern U.S.

As for timeframe, I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if he made sure when he started it that it would go into effect during election season, but I also believe his administration wants to cross its Ts and dot its Is to make prevent/minimize any challenges to the rescheduling.

See what’s available to be delivered to you (whether it’s the Aachener Zeitung, or something else) or what you can get at a newsstand. Having two papers, you can do that side by side comparison. It also allows you to slowly digest news, and can keep you off the internet a bit.

It makes me happy seeing four plumes of water vapor coming from the cooling towers when I go to work each day. Let’s hope we can find a way to get costs and construction times of the AP1000 down for future projects in the U.S. and Europe.

If you can’t stretch it out going up, look on AllTrails and see what you can find close to your exits so you can get some quick hikes in. Since you have time pressure I would skip anything super involved going north.

You can’t use reason to get someone out of a place they didn’t reason themselves into. You have to mostly use emotion to do that. Conspiracy theories generally stem from deep institutional distrust. Figuring out why they distrust institutions can help.
