The movie also completely invalidates the actions of Anakin Skywalker. Is he not the chosen one? His arc from turning to evil and destroying the Jedi to destroying the Sith is made completely meaningless by this movie. So much for bringing balance to the force if Sidious didn’t even die. It makes everything that happened in the prequels (and especially OT) meaningless.

I really hope these get retconned (maybe keeping in Force Awakens, which wasn’t too terrible comparatively), but I won’t bank on it, as a) I doubt Disney would do it and b) a lot of the actors probably wouldn’t come even close to Disney after what happened; they were mocking the movie in tons of interviews (https://youtu.be/Sd9DvIs97G0). Especially John Boyega, who truly got screwed over.

My university just got one of the name brand meat substitutes in one of the small fast food chains that has a location on campus. It’s only like a dollar or two upcharge (which isn’t too bad) to get, and tastes great.

They’ve got substitutes for chicken tenders, burgers, chicken patties, and more, which is honestly awesome. I could not tell the difference for the tenders.

Our university didn’t have many options for vegetarian/vegan students before and this is a great change for them, as they were getting bored of having salads. I’m surprised it took so long though. For the sample size of 25 in my dorm (smallest on campus), 3 people are vegetarian/vegan, so it isn’t a terribly insignificant amount of people in demand for such options.

(This site is also a peak example of why I hate Disqus. Disqus almost always either gets 0 comments, a few scam links, or filled with the trash spam on this page)

Yeah no problem! This post gave some more insight and got more interaction anyways, so it’d probably be best to keep up.

I hung out with my dormmates (my friend group stayed as long as possible, so we were the only four people left in our dorm section) a lot for our last weekend on campus before our two month long winter break. We watched some movies, went to get takeout, and in general had a blast. Midnight walks around campus are pretty fun too.

We packed our things and moved furniture around to meet the distance requirements from heaters. A few days ago us four got tested for COVID together at a drive through clinic (roll down window and they do the test for you) since we are around each other a lot (we don’t have symptoms), and the results all came in today as negative. This was all primarily done to ensure we feel safe going home to family. After I’m home for a few days staying somewhat distant from family, I plan on getting tested again.

There is FreeTube for desktop which afaik uses the NewPipe Extractor. It is not part of the NewPipe team’s development though, it’s made independently.

From what I interpret it means that perhaps the brain has been tricked into thinking that the train hasn’t been stopped. But I believe that stopping the train isn’t necessarily the best solution.

It is very clearly meant to be humorous in how over the top it is. I find it funny. Your comment isn’t constructive at all.

Can you further explain what that would do? I already limit text width to 80 characters maximum, so I'm not sure what this would change. The live preview doesn't get altered where I tested.
