It's not just you, and it's not just this one. Something must have broken for me in the superhero genre, because I despite seeing a bunch of these films in theatre (with friends, even) the last few years they fall completely flat for me. New Venom, Deadpool+Wolverine, Quantamania, Flash, The Marvels, Justice League, Shang-Chi, were all unbearably cringe throughout. In each I just could not wait for the film to be over so I could be doing anything else. Had I not been with my friends for them (we visit the theatre regularly as a group) I probably would have walked out. Across the Spiderverse was fun but even then I felt it was trying too hard compared to the first one. At least Endgame had the spectacle going for it, with the audience captivated and reacting.
I suppose I'm the sucker for continuing to feed my bills into the machine...

I know nothing about the "industry" but have been using "barefoot" (thin, zero drop, very wide) shoes for almost a year now, combined with toe mobility exercises, and my calf/foot strength has exploded. It has made a huge difference to my agility in kendo, and also eliminated my lower back pain. They have also changed my gait to be much less duckfooted.

I will definitely be buying and finishing it, but I was hoping their next title would have more strategy-based gameplay like in Pyre and Transistor. In some ways, Hades felt like more Bastion and now we're getting more Hades. I really do like the beat-em-up gameplay but it feels very same-y in the hands after the mechanics and movesets sink in.
I think Supergiant could make a great isometric RPG since they did such a great job with that character card sort of dialogue/storytelling style in Pyre and Hades. Maybe encounter-based combat that takes notes from Transistor?

I'd recommend Aquaria which is a much older indie title (before World of Goo, which I personally mark as the kickoff of the "indie" genre) that is a very rich exploration of the metroidvania motifs. It's not on sale but it's only $10. If HK is your all-time favourite, you'll love the music/art pairings in the various environments. The movement/combat isn't as satisfying as Ori but still flows well enough it isn't a drag to move around. The plot is a bit "fanfic" but is definitely charming. It's been years since I've seen anyone recommend this title despite both developers going on to find success in more mainstream titles (Spelunky and Night in the Woods) which I find somewhat strange as it holds up surprisingly well 15+ years later. There are some collectables and minigames, a few secrets, and a dead forum with a few mods made. Definitely worth your time to check out.
How to wrap a cord or hose up over-under! I have always worked hands-on jobs and I must have coiled four thousand extension cords around and around my elbow and palm, but that adds a twist with each wrap. Over-under requires a little more coordination but always unfurls perfectly. All of my air lines, hoses, and umbilicals are perfectly stored now.
