I loved it in the start of the series, for me, it had that captivating mix of having the average shonen plot without being overbearing at the same time, the parts mirrowing the Harry Potter franchise weren't a turn-off at all, and the author made it work pretty well with it's artstyle on the magic effects, on the other hand, I don't know if it's only just my perspective in particular, but I'm thinking the story took a bad turn around the final training arc, it lacked more comical relief for what we were accustomed to, and various characters were abandoned if for not the last part of the battle, I mean, yeah, my boy Mash carries the team, that much is clear, plus chapters are not exactly long, but still, I would preferred it if they didn't do the only real female character in the series a delusional reck till the end. I wasn't hoping for a top level work, just some consistency i guess. A good experience at the beginning, with all the battles and power-ups included, just to lose most of it's essence at the end. Maybe the author was having troubles with the publication?
