    My photography is the creation, for the most part. 4 hours of planning and 3 hours sitting outside to get a photo of a bluejay isn't captured in the result, but the effort went into it all the same.

    The reason I ask is we have some pretty big communities on reddit centered around posting photos, either io specific subject matter (wildlife, macro, landscape, etc) as well as manufacturer...

    The reason I ask is we have some pretty big communities on reddit centered around posting photos, either io specific subject matter (wildlife, macro, landscape, etc) as well as manufacturer specific communities that post shots from specific brands. Flickr has never had the community portion, there are just a bunch of photos with nobody communicating ever, and reddit filled that nicely.
