I think this is more to do with their monopoly (?) than the format itself. like, even with the ads, it's better for authors/writers to post there than some other site that no one uses, otherwise what would be the point if no one can discover your novel?

I know about OpenWebUI and msty but OpenWebUI requires installation, and msty doesn't have an android version.
anyone know something like this ? (would also be nice if it supports LaTeX)
