What have you been watching / reading this week? (Anime/Manga)
What have you been watching and reading this week? You don't need to give us a whole essay if you don't want to, but please write something! Feel free to talk about something you saw that was cool, something that was bad, ask for recommendations, or anything else you can think of.
If you want to, feel free to find the thing you're talking about and link to its pages on Anilist, MAL, or any other database you use!
There haven't been any comments here for a whole 8 hours, so I'm gonna use this opportunity to glaze Nippon Sangoku again. The writing in this show is just so damn good, it definitely feels more seinen than shonen but it's so refreshing to have intelligent characters that aren't joking or shouting all the time. Last episode is coming out next Sunday so if you haven't started it yet, wait til then and binge the whole season.
The anime board here is dead in the water. Only these automatically schedulled threads populate it.
With how many people in this community seem to be well-versed in tech, you would think there would be a decent number of anime and manga fans among them, but there surprisingly aren't. That or they're all introverts that don't feel like putting in the effort of posting about it, which I can totally relate with because that's me on many other things.
I have finished reading "indigo Blue" it's about a writer who meets one of her readers and ends up having sex with them. The writer amd also the reader are both women. The writer is already in a relationship she is relying upon. And in her eyes can't leave because of it.
The art style is very mature and I really like how it's written.
TW: some naked bodies, lesbophobie
Caught up on the latest season of Re:Zero. Finally, we're back to weird mysterious stuff again, now that the city fight is over.
Also watched the latest season of Frieren. And The Legend of Vox Machina.
Good stuff all around, but all three shows were too short. Vox Machina doubly so because of the weird pacing and cliff hangers every three episodes.
Forgot to mention in last week's post that I also watched the Rilakkuma show all season. The reason I forgot was that this show is literally only 60 seconds long each week, but to its credit, it's well animated and quite relaxing.
Mappa's new show Jimoto Saikou looks very weird but kind of interesting and I may also give that a look next season.
