This will be produced by Production IG, whereas S2 was produced by K.K. Tatsunoko Pro. A lot depends on the writer now: Is it Gen Urobuchi from S1, Tow Ubukata from S2 or entirely someone else? I personally loved S1 and while I wouldn't consider S2 "bad", I wouldn't want to watch it again.
