What have you been watching / reading this week? (Anime/Manga)

What have you been watching and reading this week? You don't need to give us a whole essay if you don't want to, but please write something! Feel free to talk about something you saw that was cool, something that was bad, ask for recommendations, or anything else you can think of.

If you want to, feel free to find the thing you're talking about and link to its pages on Anilist, MAL, or any other database you use!

Kill La Kill! I know, super late to the party. I only saw bits of it when the dub hit the states, and just didn't get it. Now, being less cynical and back into anime in general, I really enjoy it!...

I know, super late to the party. I only saw bits of it when the dub hit the states, and just didn't get it. Now, being less cynical and back into anime in general, I really enjoy it! It definitely hits the same spot FLCL did, with themes of growing up along with frantic, off-the wall storytelling and animation, with a bunch of stuff that may or may not be a metaphor. :p

I also get a twisted sense of amusement out of the show because it's so hard to defend to other people. I mean, at some point, you have to say something like, "no, the nudity is symbolic so actually blah blah blah..."

I also started to watch Houkago Saikoro Club — mosty about girls, tabletop gaming and sometimes making. By the way, what I am watching else: if Rick & Morty is not Japanese-style anyway then RWBY has some styles.

    I finished to read mangas:

    • Yagate Kimi ni Naru — nice story about love beetwen girls. Not so long time ago was anime.
    • Yesterday wo Utatte — old story about love.
