Man my watch list has dropped pretty sharply this week, but I don't really attribute it to the quality of the season and more the restriction I put on myself. I went into this deciding to only watch shows I haven't seen before, and that really only leaves some rather terrible stuff that doesn't do much for me. So I kinda have a question, should my next season include a show or two I've already seen and rewatch? And see how close my new score of the show matches up with my old one, or just continue watching only stuff I haven't seen before.

Dance in the Vampire Bund Ep 4:
Yeah and by episode 4 this show has completely grown on me, and it is working surprising well for me. I’m loving the characters and the plot and really interested in where the story goes from here. All I really hope is despite the rather dark ending narration to this episode, the show doesn’t end will too many characters I like dying or being harmed.

Still can’t get used to the loli vampire look though, specially the end card during the ED. Just seeing this character that looks 12 dressed in lingerie is a very strange image.

Sound of the Sky Ep 4:
While I still like the show, it is starting to kinda fall apart for me. I feel like while the last two episodes have been pretty decent in character development. Not a ton else has really ended up occurring that I want to see. And it is just creating more and more questions about the world I don’t feel will ever be answered.

These questions are pretty normal ones I always ask myself when it is placed in a dystopia or post-war or something of the sort. Like what has happened to apparently destroy all the oceans, yet life seems to be continuing rather normally. Or why some buildings are completely destroyed like the hanger, but they have mechs and cars but can’t repair those buildings. Why most of the local city seems to be almost pre-industrial without any other vehicles besides the militaries. And what glass factory is still operating my hand, unless just the master and his apprentices like to make glass objects by hand to test themselves. I would also love to know what happened to the education system of this world, since apparently, she doesn’t know the history of her own planet and what lives and lived on it.

    Omamori Himari Ep 4:
I honestly don’t know why I can keep watching this show and don’t even think about dropping it. It isn’t very good at all, rather terrible to be honest. Super generic harem trash with a terrible main character. And I don’t care at all for the characters at all, they don’t have anything unique going for them. Finally, the story isn’t very interesting or intriguing with a plot I just don’t care about.

But regardless of all of that, I can keep watching and just enjoy it. Somehow more than even Baka and Test, which I consider a better show overall. It just has that easy going feeling that lets me completely turn off my brain and just watch.

Also, random question for the show I know will never be answered. How does nobody else in the world see any of this happening. Like you just had a massive mech fighting in the woods, earthquakes would be going off like crazy. And yet nobody seems to ever notice, just one of those things that always bothers me in shows when they don’t explain it.

Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts Ep 4:
That is enough of this show for me, I just can’t enjoy this show at all. And after spending an entire episode on a single gag, and just getting frustrated that nothing really is happening at all. I’ve decided I just don’t have the patience to keep trying to watch this show anymore. Better things to do than get frustrated with stupid characters and a dumb plot.

    Katanagatari Ep 3:
I’ve decided to put this show on pause for now. I like it and want to see where it goes, but I just don’t have any drive to watch the next episode. I find myself almost forcing myself to watch the next episode. Don’t really know why, maybe it is the longer episodes? But for now, I’m not gonna drop it because I will get to it again but just put it on hold. Maybe drop back in and watch an episode here or there when I feel like it instead of trying to stay on a schedule for it.

Sora no Woto is such a good show so I urge you to watch it all the way through to the end. I can't go into it too much without getting into spoiler territory however what the show is doing is very intentional and those questions do in fact more or less all get answered in the end. The show feels unfocused at first but it really is good and the decision of how to handle the first few episodes makes sense after you finish the show.

    Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T:

Railgun continues to do everything Toaru does well and I am having a ball with it. Also praise be for my favourite character Saten getting plenty of good screen time this season.

    Ascendence of a Bookworm:

Just binge watched this entire season. It was just so incredibly satisfying and while the ending has a sharp change in tone, it was done excellently and was extraordinarily fun to watch. I absolutely can't wait for season 2 of this show to come out in April.
