This arc is kinda bothering me, it just feels really forced. Like this whole arc exists just because people are not communicating with each other properly. None of this would happen if people just talked to each other and worked out the issues.

Also, I don’t really care about the student’s vs vampire battle that is going on. And it feels obvious that this is all a plan to get Akira to get rid of the vampires that oppose Mina, but I don’t understand why they are going about it this way. Seems like they are trying to do 4D Chess plans when just normal Checkers plans would be just as good.

Sound of the Sky Ep 6:
Well this was a nice episode, with a sorta two-part style. Both of which I feel like where really good stories, but once again bring up the various questions I have again. All of which I really hope to get answered one day in this show, but really doubt I do. Just overall, I feel like this is a world that just doesn’t make much sense, and I don’t understand how it is functioning. Take this town, I don’t see what it produces or does to make any money at all. At the end of nowhere so doesn’t have travelers, isn’t a trade hub, the military obviously isn’t pumping money into the town, mountainous and doesn’t look farmable, a factory that doesn’t seem to mass produce stuff. So how does this town exist?

IDK, maybe I’m just overthinking things like I normally do. But I just kinda like it when a show tries to be realistic, to go all the way with world building. Instead so many shows, books, manga, video games, everything just kinda half-ass it. They do the minimum to make it look like it is living till you look slightly under the surface and it all falls apart.

    Omamori Himari Ep 6:
Well that was a rather terrible episode. I was hoping that introducing this new demon slayer into the mix would make things better, but really all it did was bring in a terrible fight. Seriously, I don’t know what they were thinking with that fight at all, but it just wasn’t good at all. Parts of it seemed to be speed up 3x, then into a sudden slow-motion shoot and back to 3x speed. And the various attack powers just looked terrible, those water dragons and fire looked really terrible.

Then the episode ends with us enjoying the terrible MC who is just kinda existing and having stuff happen around him. Never doing anything or changing in any way, I seriously don’t think he has changed at all in the entire show thus far. Also, what is up with his cat allergy, like it came up in the first episode and occasionally afterwards. But most of the time it seems to just be forgotten.

Anime-wise, I have been watching Infinite Dendrogram. I read light novels, and I've been following the series for quite some time now. In my opinion, the anime isn't as good as the light novel. However, I tend to feel that way about most anime if I watch them after reading the light novels. Infinite Dendrogram's rendition wasn't as bad as Arifureta's, though (which was one of the worst, if not the worst, rendition of a light novel turned anime I have ever seen). I've also been reading the LN, Seirei Gensouki (which currently has eight volumes published). I actually really enjoyed it (although I'm getting a bit tired of the Isekai genre... it feels like everything is Isekai these days).
