I was surprised because I read the artist's following work, Gun Blaze West, and it was…ehhh. Kenshin ends up being in my top-10 manga for sure tho.

I started new anime Heike Monogatari which looks very promising, letʼs look why:

    • Studio Science Saru worked with Masaaki Yuasa and give us good animes as Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! and Devilman: Crybaby. Well, one bad such as Nihon Chinbotsu 2020 too, but for me there problem was mostly only story, so other things were good.

    • Instead mentioned Yuasa there is another good director — Naoko Yamada — which famous by Kyoto Animations wors like K-On, Hibike! Euphonium, Eiga Koe no Katachi etc. And maybe that is why here drawing is not like _Yuasa_ʼs but still unique.

The anime based on one novel which not ranobe, if I did not mistake. So from first episode it remind me Dororo: a girl with boyish, old times and some mysteries; but, seems, it would be more accurate to history. I get a very good impression and wait for new episodes.

Science Saru was founded by Masaaki Yuasa (my favorite anime director!) He retired from leading it though (last I heard). I don't have access to Heiki Monogatari yet but looking forward to it.
