I've become obsessed with tiling and patterns over the last year. (Well, more so than I was before.) I've spent a little time trying to learn about and understand Girih tiles. This video shows how they were actually made for the Moroccan Court at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. They hired Moroccan artisans to come in and make them by hand.
