This is giving me the same sort of feeling that Star Trek: Discovery did. That "You know what's awesome? The past" sort of feeling that means we're spending time doing the "remember that thing that's not a thing yet" and a romantic view of the Jedi that was, even before the Clone Wars and the dusk of the Original Republic. Maybe I'm a big old hypocrite since I loved KotOR back in the day, or maybe I'm burnt out on Star Wars hype, but the initial announcement isn't doing it for me.

I mean honestly the main thing I liked about the Old Republic as an era was the fact that Jedi weren't everywhere. It sort of made them feel special..
