I am yet to write anything major in Zig, but I love how consistent everything is. The compile time evaluation makes for some very elegant code. I am crazy impressed with a language that is just a little bit over 3 years old, I'm surprised there isn't more hype or interest in the project. It makes me a little sad to see that v has almost triple zig's stars on GitHub (9.2k vs 3.5k), even though stars don't really matter.

I am eagerly awaiting, what will Zig's concurrency story look like. IIRC, they're going with stack-less coroutines, and I really want to see, what will the production code look like.
