I've been wanting to get into doing some 3d printing for a little while. Started learning cad last year. Parametric design took some getting used to but it's ridiculously useful being able to scale individual measurements and have it affect only the other measurements you want it to.
I really like this sort of thing though. Using such new technology for solving little everyday problems. It seems like overkill in a way, but it also seems perfect for the task.
