I've been here a few times through field trips as a kid to doing IT work there for clients as an adult. And, as the article mentions, playing laser tag at Jaeger's. It's a neat place. Only downside is, as you can imagine, lack of cell reception. You don't even have to go that far into the caves to lose signal! Well, that and just no natural light, of course.

There are a number of these caverns in and around Kansas City that are used for business and storage. Dean's Downtown Underground is another large multiuse cavern. Park University, located ~12mi northwest of Downtown Kansas City, in Parkville, MO actually has parts of it's campus underground, with classrooms and offices located in the caves. Going east into the suburb of Lee's Summit, the US National Archives and Records Administration maintains an underground storage repository.

There's even a potential cult or something weird going on in a cave in the suburb of Blue Springs.

There are probably more caves in the area that I'm not familiar with. But yeah, Kansas City is a cave city.
