This is a good piece. The one thing that would argue against a bit is that AFAIK, there is no physics or lack of supplies preventing PV solar + Li-ion batteries from taking care of the vast majority of the electricity 25%, in the majority of the world.
I really hope it’s part of the beginning of a real discussion amongst our ruling class. I would love to see TED Talks do a series of debates on the matter. Not debating if the C02 problem exists, but a debate between thought leading billionaires on their various solution ideas.
