    I was hoping to see some mention of the fact that music on vinyl records is not subject to deterioration simply sitting unused whereas CDs and DVDs are -- they internally disintegrate over time.

    I feel the average number of times one listens to an album would be a lot less than the 27 times mentioned. After all your favourite music is not the same as the average album you purchase or even...

    I feel the average number of times one listens to an album would be a lot less than the 27 times mentioned. After all your favourite music is not the same as the average album you purchase or even the average one that is manufactured, unsold physical copies still have an environmental impact after all.

    I also feel the option of keeping digital music locally should have been considered more in the article as that would probably increase that factor from 27 to a much higher number.
