Because it's The Points Guy, the piece is obviously very interior/comfort focused, but I'm fascinated by electric aviation—this represents the potential for travel to go green and be sustainable...

As an all-electric aircraft, Alice doesn’t require any fuel — the plane can add an hour of flying time after 30 minutes of charging on the ground. More than 60% of Alice’s maximum takeoff weight consists of the battery, which tips the scales at some 8,200 pounds.

Numbers like those almost seem tenable for small-scale flights such as these. Larger-scale aircraft will likely be harder, but I'm still surprised to see a plane that can carry this number of passengers. The battery weight—60% of MTOW—seems a bit damning though.

I do hope this isn't vaporware, and hope it flies soon. It'll be something to see.
