      Naturally, we Australians believe we would be better "masters" than the Chinese. :)

    It's not just with nations in the Pacific Ocean - it's happening all over the world. People are actually naming it "debt-trap diplomacy". It's China's attempt to reinvigorate the two ancient trade...

    It's not just with nations in the Pacific Ocean - it's happening all over the world. People are actually naming it "debt-trap diplomacy". It's China's attempt to reinvigorate the two ancient trade routes that made them the richest country in the world approximately 1000 years ago, along with expanding some of their ancient routes into Africa. The difference with today of course is that the President has adopted the Maoist global goals, but is using market capitalism to branch out instead of communist ideology.
