A small editorialization here ("Draghi Warns Risks From Trade War May Be Understated"). I'm still catching up from all the news about Trump tariffs. Today's the 1st of July. The EU is already affected by the tariffs, Canada retaliated with news tariffs, and China will do the same with the US really go through the tariffs on them.
I believe this is much different from the time George Bush tried to increase the tariffs on the EU, where he gave up after the EU threatened to increase tariffs from products from key Republican states. This time, with Trump, it seems the US will go through. And it's quite scary.
