I'm 100% pro-immigration, but forgive me if I don't shed any tears for capitalists having difficulties sourcing cheap labor from abroad. If they want these positions filled they should just pay more.
This is what drives me crazy about the anti immigrant sentiment in the US. We need these workers to do the labor intensive jobs that Americans will not do. All we are doing by shutting out immigrants is weakening our own economy and costing more jobs from lost productivity.

Companies relying on exploitative low-cost labor is not a good thing. Frankly, that's the only reason I'm against illegal immigration and temporary migratory work visas -- it creates a power dynamic that inevitably leads to abuse.
(I am pro-immigration in general, btw. I think it is a good thing.)

How about just pay people enough to get Americans wanting to do these sorts of jobs?
