    This article is a bit "local news" but student debt is a pressing and much talked about issue, especially with the US election and primaries coming soon. Eliminating the interest on these loans...

    This article is a bit "local news" but student debt is a pressing and much talked about issue, especially with the US election and primaries coming soon. Eliminating the interest on these loans (even if it's just the portion of the loan covered by the province) is a great first step towards easing the burden of debt on students.
