Tildes Video Thread

So, quite a few people don't like/watch video content, and don't like seeing the homepage filled with videos. Let's try something new, see if it sticks.

What are the best videos you have watched this past week/fortnight?

I actually filter out the video tag, and only saw this thread because I was temporarily logged out. There's lots of valuable videos people share, I just don't wanna see them on mobile. Every once...

There's lots of valuable videos people share, I just don't wanna see them on mobile. Every once in a while I look at the unfiltered feed. I shoud probably do that more.

Edit: I think we should have a weekly podcast thread. Lots of great podcast episodes, but it doesn't feel appropriate to create a thread for every single one.

    Jay Foreman

Not much more needs to be said when a new Jay Foreman video drops onto YouTube... This video focuses on the London Underground transport map, and its increasing complexity. I won't plot spoil, but he has treated us to some amusing cameos once again. I particularly love his take on famous map designer Harry Beck!

    For further transport viewing pleasure:

    • Geoff Marshall has another video out in his 'End of the Line' series. It's the turn of Uxbridge in Ep.8.
    • RMTransit has a video provocatively titled 'New York City Subway vs. London Underground'.
    • Jago Hazzard reveals London Underground station hierarchy in his usual distinct manner with this video.
