    He is the least bad of the options, like in most Presidential elections :) Haavisto used to be a top contender, but he's getting a bit old. Finnish Presidential terms are 6 years and pretty much...

    Haavisto used to be a top contender, but he's getting a bit old. Finnish Presidential terms are 6 years and pretty much all presidents serve the maximum two terms. He'd be 78 in the end of his second term.

    Stubb is 10 years younger than Haavisto, speaks multiple languages and is more of a figurehead type person than Haavisto would be.

    Halla-aho is the right wing candidate, but I don't see him winning. He might get to the second round (if the first round doesn't provide a clear winner, the top 2 will have a second round of public votes), but he'll never win.

    And the rest are either eww or meh.
