As a Florida resident, I am so deeply angry that Floridians voted to change our constitution to allow felons to vote and then Republicans did an end run around and limited the rights that we explicitly voted to grant to felons who had served their time and paid the debt we imposed to them.
I wish people could vote while serving sentences, incarceration is only meant to incarcerate, other rights should remain (within reason). But don’t mind me, I’m just a Brazilian “communist”!
