So because Trump strengthened his base, it's automatically a scam?

AOC was arguing on Twitter that the Lincoln Project was hugely inefficient with their spending which, yeah, probably can make a good case of that. But it's way too early to just call it a scam.

I mean, fuck, the Lincoln Project is the closest thing I can find to a campaign that actually focuses on decency and working against divisiveness. That acknowledges that things aren't black & white.

Maybe it says more about the US that it wasn't effective. It says more about the fact that Trump's message being effective, and LP's being drowned out, which is disconcerting. But that's what populists do, and the GOP was always harboring people with these views, so I mean yeah, it doesn't surprise me that the LP's message was overall not very effective.

But for all you know, it could have turned the election blue. It's still too early to actually tell what the effect they had actually looks like.

This seemed fairly obvious to me from the get go, considering who was behind it. It really surprised me to see how quickly they managed to get centrists and "moderates" sucked in though.
