Full disclosure: I love this series. I have seen it too many times. I really appreciate absurdist comedy, and have never considered this show to be political in the slightest. I'm also not on Twitter, so I had no idea it had become such a meme.
Anyway, I appreciate an analysis on such a goofy comedy series and I found it cathartic to be able to laugh these sketches in this context.
