"untraceable" numbers and interview the people at the other end, but the Vermont police couldn't trace anything about it, implying the nature of the phone (VoIP or burner) resulted in it being impossible. The VoIP thing doesn't hold much water, as the majority of landlines are VoIP these days anyway.
It was an interesting profile on who's making these calls, as well. I'm not surprised by the demographics, but it was pretty illuminating.
