Had an extremely long work day and work a small amount tomorrow so I haven't done my big weekly album round-up yet, haven't had any chance, should be up sometime this weekend though... figured I'd post a little note here that my roundup is still on the way! So many albums this month! Some teasers for now:
Top exciting release right now: Sadistic Force - Midnight Assassin (though I don't love it when metal bands have album covers like that... though I'm sure it's a theme / horror / not a bad intention...)
Also noticed today that new Crosses album is out today.
Aside from these I have an overwhelming amount of tabs open for my weekly roundup research :)

FINALLY! Late with this post. Tough week and weekend last week. Also, just posting YT and Album[dot]link links this week. Bandcamp just laid off 50% of staff so faith in Songtradr acquisition is being lost. Songtradr's inability to signal any good faith towards the Bandcamp United union also means at least for now I've stopped prioritizing them as a recommendation (though for supporting artists, it's probably still one of your best bets, despite the labor situation). With so many shitty music platforms, pick your poison, I guess.

PA Black Metal by Jameson & Co. Quite aggressive and enjoyable. Very full production with just a wall of angry guitars coming your way.

Despondent black metal. A less fash version of something like Mgla (sorry to even mention them, apt comparison I believe, though).

Great black/thrash. Sounds like it's shaping up to be a very enjoyable follow-up to Aces Wild.

Heavy as hell death/doom with that very anxious plodding dark slow guitar sound, reminds me a lot of Fossilization (a favorite of mine) which are their labelmates.
Taubra - Therizo

Occult black metal with a sound very typical of that side of the genre but executed so well. Swirling guitars and blastbeats. Extremely sinister atmosphere.
Thanks for putting my attention towards Sadistic Force. Haven't heard of them, but I love this black/thrash combo similar to names like Desaster, Toxic Holocaust and Deströyer 666.
Where do you get information on new metal releases by the way? I try to keep an eye on Spotify's New Releases playlist each Friday, but it seems to be all over the place.
