I saw him once in a low-ceilinged, tiny (~700 capacity) warehouse conversion and it was one of the most full-on gigs I've ever been to. Not to mention one of the loudest. Also he's the only artist...

Also he's the only artist I've seen who was his own support act - Shobaleader One opened (and were amazing), then went off and Tom came back on by himself to play as Squarepusher.
I used to work with a guy who was at school with him. Apparently a lovely dude, very quiet, thoughtful and soft-spoken but would occasionally throw incredible parties where people like Aphex Twin would show up to drop some tunes and hang out.
A dark, dense acid adventure.

Oh what just a whole new glorious acid techno/breakcore Squarepusher track out of nowhere. New album coming soon.

Sick! Saw him live once late night at a music festival, was one of the coolest most unique acts I've ever seen.
