The Lonesome Crowded West came out in 1997. It is in my top 5 and always will be. In the song, Issac says, "And I'm sorry if I dissed you." Which always seemed like such an insincere apology. As if that was supposed to carry weight in the meaning. I saw MM in July 2016 and Issac sang it, "And I'm sorry if I fucked you over." It was like he completely changed the song by changing that word. Like years later he really is sorry and feels bad and realizes the gravity of it by using a heavy word like fuck. But I am probably thinking too much into it. It was just so surreal how one word changed the entire meaning.

How do you feel about their live performances nowadays? I've seen them close to 10 times since 2005 and each new show I go to seems to feel a little less special than the last. Not sure what it is since their performance is usually top notch. Really hoping for some new music soon.
I've only seen them once. Missed a lot of chances and they played 10 min from my place so I went. The show was great. We got the best set list out of that tour. They did about 6 encores. They...

Wow, haven't seen that combo before. One of my favorites was always the Spittin' Venom/I Came as a Rat mashup. Don't think they really do that one much nowadays though.

They played The Whale Song. It was insane. They had this revamped version of Tiny Cities. It was real funky and fresh.
