Bojack's life appears to be on an upward trajectory but the season begins with a horribly depressing look back at the roots of Bojack's alcoholism. I've personally seen family, friends, and even myself struggle with alcohol so seeing it portrayed on screen always hits close to home. I'm going to miss this show but I'm also glad that Bojack's story is coming to a close.

Trying to catch up in time to watch some of the final season week to week.
Also, The Righteous Gemstones. I missed a few weeks so I got to watch three episodes back to back last night and could not stop laughing. Danny McBride and crew have been consistently pumping out some of the greatest TV comedy for years. Looking forward to the finale next week.

These guys bring the noise. Plain and simple. They hail from Atlanta and tour extensively. Their live show is easily the loudest and most cathartic live music experience I've seen and I highly recommend catching them live if you get the chance. They have been one of my favorite bands for the past few years and are one of the biggest influences on my own music.
I don't have a ton to say about each specific track so I'll let them speak for themselves.
Track 1: Baby Bird
Track 2: I Have A Prepared Statement
Track 3: Daddy's Money

I honestly would not have picked up this game if it wasn't one of the free PS+ games this month and what a mistake that would have been. This game is simply phenomenal and unlike anything I have ever played. It's beautiful, engaging, and you quickly become personally invested in the characters. My choices led to two characters dying last night and it was easily the most upsetting video game experience I have ever had. This game will make you feel! I highly recommend giving it a shot.

I had no clue that there was a "pogo" ability. You can use it on enemies too! There are a few platforming segments where you absolutely have to master the technique.
I love that feeling of reward after struggling with a fair challenge. That's one of the reasons why I'm a huge FROMSOFTWARE fan too. You should check out the Soulsbourne/Sekiro games if you ever have a chance. They're not for everyone but if you like a good challenge then they're worth checking out imo.
I'm a little bit of the opposite when it comes to exploring. I'm limited on my play time so I strive to make as much progression as possible when I do have time to play. I love the exploration but try to minimize backtracking so I usually seek out the map for an area ASAP and then use it heavily to navigate.
If you didn't know... there is a sequel coming out in the near future. Probably this year if I had to guess. It's called Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Just thought I'd give you fair warning since you mentioned that you didn't want anything too difficult or stressful. Amazing game but a definitely a challenge.

If you and your band are prepared then you you will knock it out of the park. Of course there are always going to be things that can go wrong but you get through them. I saw my friend's bass & drum band play a few weeks and the bass player's E string broke half way through their first song. Luckily, another band let him borrow their bass and they were up and rolling in a minute or two.
Finding a group that you mesh well with is one of the best feelings out there imo. Sounds like you guys have a good foundation. Good luck!

I was in the same boat as you (heavy smoker for years) and then something odd happened to me that I haven't seen happen to anyone else. Almost overnight it started giving me extreme anxiety and it's effects were no longer pleasurable. I quit cold turkey right away and that was that. I've used it several times in the years since and every time it has had the same negative effect on me and I've regretted using it. I ended up using alcohol as an alternative and that sent me down an even worse road.
I'm almost two years sober from practically everything except caffeine and I've never felt physically or mentally better than I do now. There are a number of other lifestyle changes I've made that have contributed to that but I think ditching my vices has had the greatest impact on my current state of well being.
I saw Frozen 2 yesterday and it was phenomenal. I actually teared up a few times. The comedic elements and music were great too.
There was an underlying theme of intolerance and fear of things/people we don't understand and what kinds of long lasting negative consequences can stem from those fears. In that way, I think the story is extremely relevant for some of the things that are currently happening in the US. Namely, a general fear/intolerance of immigrants and people with non-christian religious beliefs. I feel like these fears are driving Americans apart inside the country and potentially preventing us from better working with our allies to fix some of the issues that are causing people to flee their countries in the first place.
These fears are surely a product of our past and present and will continue to shape our future as well. We need to make an effort to see each other as fellow humans and we need to try to stop viewing issues through the lens of us v them. We're all in this together. Easier said than done, I know.
