Tokyo Police Club is probably my favourite indie group of all time, and honestly just have so many great songs. Forcefield's not my favourite TPC album, but I think that Feel the Effect's a really good song for getting people into them because the mix is a bit more full than on any of my favourite albums of theirs.

It's always fun to find a musical compatriot! Really recommend you explore their catalogue a bit; it gets into some really dark places at some points, and some really light and fun points; think the contrast between the darkest Broken Social Scene songs at some point, to Such Great Heights from The Postal Service. It's a beautiful discography!
No problem! Really glad you like them, actually! If you like this, I really really recommend exploring their catalogue! Like I've said elsewhere, Champ's one of my favourite records of all time!...

It manages to be both a bit lighter and a bit darker lyrically and musically than the songs on Forcefield, mind! It's just an amazing record through and through!
Their debut record, Elephant Shell, is a really upbeat, cryptic little thing, and it's amazing. Highly recommend it, too! There's very little in terms of feel good albums that manage to match it; I think you'd like it!

Oh I'm a long time fan already!
Oh! That's fantastic! Did you hear the song they released earlier today?
Not yet, I left my headphones at home this morning. Looking forward to it tonight.
It's sooo sugary. Think like, A Lesson In Crime-era!
