I haven't even thought about Pedro the lion or David bazan in a long time. It's hard to find a friend was probably my favorite. I'm going to go back and listen to themall now and see which one I like the best. I didn't even realize this came out before Achilles Heel.

David's recently started performing under the Pedro the Lion title again, for the first time in around a decade, I think. I'm honestly pretty excited!

It's fantastic. Honestly, I think just about everyone needs to hear the album at least once; it's a great example on how to make a concept album perfectly.

I went back and listened to all four albums. Just finished Achilles Heel. Re hearing, It's Hard to Find a Friend, made me realize I held it in such a high regard because of the time I heard it. At that time in my life it resonated with me and I associated that with it. Control was definitely a more polished and gritty sound for Bazan. Not as Raw. I'd say my least to greatest is

    1. It's Hard to Find a Friend
    2. Control
    3. Achilles Heel
    4. Winners Never Quit

I never new there was a version of Slow and Steady Wins the Race he did with Ben Gibbard. Apparently it was a bonus track. I can't find it anywhere to hear it.

If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, it's apparently on that and iTunes. Surprised no one's put it up; maybe on a torrent site?

Seriously though they sell out so quickly and it's happened with like the last four albums they've put out and they should have really learned that people actually like buying records. #onlyslightlybitter
