I like metal, I like covers, I especially like cross-genre covers, and so metal covers tend to top the list of favorites (which Leo Moracchioli reliably delivers). I've heard of WAP, but never been able to tolerate the original long enough to listen to it in its entirety. I came across this one looking for some metal to blast because I'm just in a mental state today that requires attempts to make my ears bleed via heavy riffs and figured I'd share.

A bop is a good/catchy song. It's maybe more relaxed than a banger and more intense than a groove. UrbanDictionary is a pretty good first stop for slang terms, by the way.

I gave up 52 seconds into Body, interestingly though the next video in the playlist I was listening to is also by this "Megan Thee Stallion" a cover of Savage. It's pretty good, I'm digging the beat for sure.

Glad I'm not in an apartment (as I'm sure my neighbors would be as well) as there's no guilt to be had with the wall shaking currently going on.

I don't think much of the original, musically speaking. However, I adore it for its metatextual consequences:

        • It made conservative commentators absolutely lose their goddamn minds
        • It has spawned some of the most hilarious remixes and covers I've ever heard. The lounge version is quite possibly one of the funniest pieces of music on Youtube.

Also, if you're looking for a quick chuckle, listen to the radio edit. Seriously.
