    In My view the opposition was being irresponsible with bringing about this vote of no confidence at this time. We have an election in a few months anyway and an application to NATO going on. Even if Morgan Johansson was/is horrible (I have no opinion on that), couldn't the opposition just have said that they'd raise a vote of no confidence after the election if he remained? Less fuzz and likely as effective at creating a media buzz for the parties involved. Meh.

      Definitely a little unneccesary political theatre going on here, for sure. Especially with three long months of political campaigning across the front pages ahead of us; where the serious subject of criminal justice can be debated and discussed with a little more nuance.

      I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I noticed Jimmie Åkesson and his gang have been awfully quiet during the pandemic years. Maybe this was their grand statement to get back in the conversation of the chattering classes. Who knows. This whole debacle has piqued my interest in Amineh Kakabaveh though.
