The article is worth a quick read. On the face of it, it might not sound like a headline that's all that unique. But Gustavo Petro, the Colombian president, is actually saying the things that one should say in this situation if they are the sort of person who runs on an anti-corruption platform. Let's hope he's true to his word. As the article points out, Colombia is a source of drugs that make their way to North America and Europe and the country's government has been open-minded to outside efforts to reduce production within Colombia.
